Puretog — Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Puretog (the “App”). By using Puretog, you agree to this Policy.
Priority: privacy commitments (aligned with Puretog’s home screen footer)
The privacy notice shown at the bottom of Puretog’s home screen and main feature pages summarizes the principles below. Where this Policy matches that notice, both have equal effect; to understand how we handle your photos and data, read this section first.
- We do not collect face or facial data. We do not collect or store facial biometric information for face recognition, comparison, or building face profiles.
- We do not collect personal information. For core photo processing, we do not require your name, phone number, government ID number, or other data that identifies you on its own.
- We do not share user data with third parties. We do not sell your user data to third parties, nor share it with unrelated third parties for their independent commercial purposes without lawful basis and consent where required.
- Photos you choose are used only temporarily for generation and processing. Photos you upload or capture are used only for the reasonable period needed to generate and process results; after that, we do not keep them for the same purpose (except where mandatory retention laws apply).
- Technical path. We do not use third-party AI services to process your images; generation and processing occur on your device using our own technology. If our architecture changes, we will update this Policy and obtain consent or provide prominent notice as required by law.
1. Information we may process
Within the minimum scope needed to run Puretog, we may process:
- Images you provide: solely for background cleanup, passerby removal, and similar processing you request, as described in the priority section and Puretog’s home screen notice.
- Device and log information (if applicable): such as device model, OS version, or crash logs that do not directly identify you, for security and improvement. Details depend on what we actually collect and will be described for any extended features.
- Purchases and subscriptions: payment is handled by Apple and partners; we receive only what is needed to fulfill entitlements (e.g., whether a subscription is active), not your full payment card number.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve Puretog;
- To perform our contract with you (e.g., membership benefits);
- To comply with law and respond to lawful requests;
- For analytics and optimization using de-identified or aggregated data where you cannot be identified.
3. Storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Except as required by law or for the shortest time needed for processing, we do not long-term store original images you supply for a single processing session, consistent with Puretog’s home screen notice on temporary use and non-retention after processing.
4. Third parties and sharing
We do not share user data with third parties for unrelated marketing or profiling (see Puretog’s home screen and the priority section). We may disclose information where you give separate consent, where required by law or regulators, or in connection with a merger or acquisition where the successor is bound by this Policy.
If we embed third-party SDKs, we will list their names, purposes, and privacy links and obtain consent where required.
5. Your rights
Where applicable law grants you rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, or to withdraw consent or close an account, you may contact us as below. We will respond within any legally required timeframe.
6. Children
If you are a minor, use Puretog only with a parent or guardian’s guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated in Puretog. Continued use after notice means you accept the updated Policy.
